I consulted Mario when looking for a tax consultant to help with my UK/DE tax affairs a couple of years ago. After my initial consultation which cost around €200 and given his multiple 5 star reviews I asked him to help further. He said he had good knowledge of UK/DE double taxation regarding UK rental property as well as my consultancy work that I do from my UK LTD. He took down all details and said he would come back to me after consulting his colleague. Several months later he came back stating that as the rental properties were in a LTD company then they wouldn't need to be declared in DE. However, not all the properties are in a LTD company which made me think he hadn't taken down the information correctly from our initial chat. He also came up with a solution for the IT consultancy work which would mean more accountancy fees for his company. I was also presented with another bill for around €1.000 for the 6 hours that he and his colleague said they had to work on my case. I didn't have confidence with what was provided so I got another opinion which was free for the initial consultation plus no large bills for them working on my case which they said was straight forward. Mario is a nice guy. However, it was a costly consultation for me.
