Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. Our own aim is always to ensure that our clients feel well advised at all times and that any queries can be clarified in the short run. We therefore very much regret that you were not completely satisfied with our services and apologize for any inconvenience caused.

Unfortunately, however, we cannot agree with the content of your review. With regard to your feedback, we would like to point out that tax issues are usually complex if, for example, the legal situation is not clearly clarified, the overall facts are unclear or it is difficult to clarify them. Furthermore, when tax knowledge in specialized areas is required. In any case, such issues have an increased degree of difficulty and complexity.

With regard to fees, we have informed you in advance that in Germany the so-called Tax Advisor Fee Ordinance (Steuerberatergebührenverordnung) generally applies. The amount depends on the so-called object values (Gegenstandswerte). We have even applied these in your benefit in this specific case. For reasons of goodwill, we have not invoiced any further services rendered. Furthermore, as already explained to you, it is incorrect that we have repeatedly missed deadlines. Please also note that the income tax returns submitted for you did not contain any errors in terms of content.

We of course accept your decision to seek advice from another tax advisor in the future. We would like to take this opportunity to renew our offer of a clarifying discussion (e.g. MS Teams call). We have also revised and adapted our internal communication processes in connection with new clients.

However, we cannot share your criticism in terms of content, as it is highly subjective and unfortunately does not reflect what actually happened. Nevertheless, we wish you all the best for the future.
